Liminal and Loving it.

I'm a queer mixed race geeky fat woman living in the big city. I have too many books, two cats, a freezer full of bacon, and a bright orange KitchenAid mixer. I'm also in library school part time and working (not always successfully) on not over-committing myself.

I tend to friends lock entries after about a year. This journal contains a mish-mash of the usual navel-gazing, talk about TV shows, some not so usual navel-gazing, recipes, talk about race and gender, queerness, sex, paranormal romance novels and random silliness. There is some opt-in/out flitration action.

If you want to start reading this journal because you read something I wrote to do with race or racism, please be aware that this is not a political blog. This is my personal journal. This livejournal is at least as likely to contain passionate discussion about bacon and my gardening, as political insight. I'm fine with random people reading/adding my livejournal. There is no need to make a request. However, I'm not able to add everyone back.
